The bifacial vertical solar fence generates energy within a narrow footprint while serving as a fence. With a width of 30 cm, the installation provides space to house inverters, batteries, and, if necessary, security systems.
The ground anchors are reversible; various systems—including concrete anchors, screws, or driven piles—ensure structural stability capable of withstanding winds of up to 130 km/h.
Since 2022, Turn2Watt has installed a 120-meter fence at FLASA to compare solar energy output with that of the solar power plant on the company’s rooftops. The vertical system delivers an efficiency of approximately 80 to 85 percent compared to the horizontal solar power plant.
